About the Artist
Recovering from cancer surgery
over twenty years ago, Mary
began her intensive "love" of watercolors. She studied at Ohio State
University, Ohio University, Capital University, Columbus Art and Design, plus attended numerous
workshops from noted international Watercolorist. She is author of three books,
various magazine
articles, exhibitor, and member of local art
guilds in Ohio and Florida.
Mary currently teaches at: The Beach
Art Center, Indian Rocks
Beach, FL, each Jan. through May), plus travel teaching at: regional,
national, and
international artist’s conventions. She had a weekly local TV
Show,
and made TV appearances on Discovery Channel “Home Matters” and PBS “Perfect
Palette.” Through the Society of Decorative Painters
(SDP)
teacher certification program, Mary became a charter Teacher of Decorative Art
(TDA).
